In case you haven’t heard, the fishing in the East Cape has been epic! It seems to all be here at the same time. There are big dorado, big tuna, big roosters, big marlin! I personally can not remember a 6 week stretch where the fishing has been so good. Below you will see some of the highlights from the past few week in July. There have been 55lbs. dorado landed, 186lbs. tuna, 60lbs. roosters, and the marlin are in super thick right now. Anglers are finding lots of other species as well including white bonita, jack crevelle, red snapper (pargo), just to name a few. It’s a great time to be down on the East Cape!
